Reel Trouble

Fisher, a hungry cat, goes fishing for his next meal. Unbeknownst to him, the little fishy he caught turned out to not actually be a little fishy. It's a baby monster in it's tadpole phase, and mama is NOT happy!
This animated short was created using various programs! Good old fashion paper and pencil was where conceptualizing began, and then various illustration programs to nail down designs and line art. Then, the characters and assets were modeled, textured, rigged, and animated using Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Liquigen, and After Effects.
This project was done under the guidance of an instructor, but all concepts, deadlines, and goals were handled by individual students.
